This role oversees the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of customer and employee facing restaurant devices. This anchor position is one that requires deep technical understanding paired with proven interpersonal skills to cultivate strong-cross functional relationships, translate across business and technical domains, and secure stakeholder investment in short- and long-term roadmaps. This role leads project work and prioritize initiatives while also providing technical “hands on keyboard” on occasion to help work output.

 

This role is responsible for designing end-to-end solutions while implementing robust technical standards, systems, and processes for enterprise device management. Incumbents need to evaluate performance metrics, benchmark business outcomes, and incorporate user feedback to make key decisions that relate to continuous improvement. Serving as primary point of contact with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), as well as external hardware and software vendors, the candidate will be accountable for hardware and OS lifecycle management of in-restaurant devices and managing Franchise and Company support needs across markets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input into the strategic plan for restaurant devices. Contribute to the development of IT Annual Operating Plan through project identification, prioritization, and business impact. Lead discovery efforts and prioritize the backlog, working against established roadmap and coordinating dependencies to ensure delivery of initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Lead technical design, development, configuration, and implementation and Continuous Improvement of Company and Franchise restaurant devices. Enforce procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across project phases and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problem statements into technical solutions.
  • Enterprise mobile device and configuration management. Manage IT hardware and OS lifecycles to extend useful life, lower cost of ownership, and improve ROI. Implement and maintain key metrics for performance, business impact., and investment value. Manage Franchise and Company support needs across markets.
  • Establish effective working relationships with business partners and third-party vendors. Maintain relationships with OEMs, hardware, and software providers. Participate in SLA definition, invoice approvals, and budget forecasting. Facilitate relationships with business partners and work cross-functionally to ensure business requirements and solution capabilities are effectively matched and implemented.
  • Provide support for international initiatives, facilitating discovery and solution implementation across international market segments. Support technical solutions while adhering to IT development standards, the IT change control process, SOX controls / requirements, and IT governance processes.
  • Provide support, coaching, technical mentorship, and developmental opportunities for direct reports. Assign tasks, projects, and monitor workload balance and quality. Conduct performance optimization and other related activities.

Minimum Wage

USD $114,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Wage

USD $200,000.00/Hr.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field- required
  • 5+ years of configuration management experience, or experience in a related field such as enterprise device management or software engineering
  • 2+ years of experience within a technical or other managerial role
  • History of handling complex technical development concepts, critical thinking, and modeling personal initiative and accountability
  • Previous QSR, retail, or experience in a franchise environment is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms with a high level of influence and convey complex ideas to assist with decision-making and direction

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors.  This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. *  The target annual bonus for this role is 20% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
